Black Dog – Almost Done!

Boxed this one last night in a plain gray box from Small Bear (the really cheap ones).  Haven’t had much building time lately and that has been marked by a string of failures and disappointments so I didn’t want to spend any time into prettying up the box until I confirmed it worked and was worth the effort.  Good news is it works really, really well and is way worth the effort.  Bad news is I don’t want to pull it off my board to properly finish the box.  Sounds great by itself with the gain down low, just enough gain to add a bit of crispiness to the edges and with the gain cranked.  Also sounds great after a Muff (my current favorite is a Red Army Overdrive version).
