Any ideas on how to get more volume out of this circuit?
The last stage of this circuit has a gain of 10 when the gain pot is full clockwise. If this is not enough, you may have a build issue. Please check the values of all installed components. If you don’t find any mismatch, then post good photos of both sides of the board as well as a photo showing all wiring connections.
DARREN – did you use a Gain “pot” or “trimpot” in your build? Hopefully, not both.
Aslo, there is the buffer trimpot – check o see where that’s at and listen to how it’s settings alter things.
You can increase the gain of the last stage by adding a fixed resistor between the board and lug 1 of the GAIN pot. A 10K resistor would DOUBLE the gain at max CW rotation. Or try a value less than that.
