    Hi All,

This is my fourth build and the first I’ve had a problem with, but I’m hoping someone might be able to spot what I’ve done wrong.

I have a normal guitar sound when the effect is bypassed but when I engage the effect foot switch I get no sound at all. The main switch LED flashes as expected (both when engaged and in bypass) and when the fast switch is engaged the flashing rate appears to double.

Based on the advice on another post I have checked the voltages for the kill switch and the two ICs.

Have I made an obvious mistake somewhere?

Thanks for any help you can give me,

    Guy

    SW2 (kill switch) - position 1
    Pin Voltage
     1 varying approx. 4.5 - 6.5
     2 5.3
     3 5.3
    SW2 (kill switch) - position 2
    Pin Voltage
     1 varying approx. 4.5 - 6.5
     2 varying approx. 4.5 - 6.5
     3 8.7
    IC1
    Pin Voltage
     1 4.4
     2 4.4
     3 4.4
     4 0
     5 4.4
     6 4.4
     7 4.4
     8 8.8
    IC2
    Pin Voltage
     1 varying approx. 4.4 to 6.5
     2 varying approx. 4.4 to 6.5
     3 varying approx. 4.4 to 6.5
     4 0
     5 varying approx. 4.4 to 6.5

Looks like your in jack ground connection is going to the pcb tip pad try swapping your purple and black wires around on the pcb in pads

Fantastic, thanks Billy! That fixed it, sounds great now.
