SteveModeratorWhere do I start??
1. Lower parts count.
2. New face plate makes finishing fast and simple.
3. New 9v DC hub along with NostalgiTone’s pin header system, eliminates 90% of conventional wiring.
4. Essentially 4 pedals in one box depending on which circuits are engaged and the position of the order switch.Aside from painting the enclosure, I built this in an afternoon. Quick and easy, lemon squeezy
This bad boy delivers on all fronts. Everything that is stated in the description of these circuits is 100% spot on!
My personal favorite for the order is having the PlexAmp before the boost. I play a lot of rhythm guitar and this just
sounds best to my ears…Thanks for looking…

BarryKeymasterThat turned out fantastic! Thanks for sharing the build and the great feedback.
I’m really glad to hear everything went together so smoothly. Enjoy the ROCK⚡HARD!

ParticipantI recently built the Rock Hard project. What I didn’t realize is that the parts list and schematic call for a TL072 IC. I had to trash the first build after trying to trouble-shoot the boost not operating (saved a few parts). I built a second one and the same result with the boost happened. Thank goodness for the forum – I discovered that listing the TL072 was a typo and what is really required is a TL071. Swapped that out and voila! – the boost came alive! Not sure if there is a way to GuitarPCB to edit the documents, but it still shows the wrong IC for the boost in Rock Hard documentation. I see that some of the info in the stand-alone NT Boost documentation shows the correct IC at one location. I’m wondering if Steve had this problem with the boost component?

ParticipantSteve, dig the black and gold paint scheme on the enclosure. It works quite well!
Ill have to post up photos this afternoon of the DumbleTone i finished last night.

BarryKeymasterWow, OK. That was some typo.
Several conflicting reports and I should have looked closer at the symbol and not just the text above it.
I got it sorted now and thanks for pointing it out. It is a TL071 and not TL072.
I have updated the Build Document.

Barry W DavisParticipantBuild looks great, I got in the habit of reading all build reports ahead of any build.
