I just finished this one up after a brief illness…
The “Bridge of Sighs” Dual Combo is built to get you into that Robin Trower zone without a ton of fuss. It pairs a VIBE with a Plexamp-style drive, and they’re voiced to work together the way you’d want for those big, moody, vintage tones. There’s also an order switch, so you can flip the signal chain and stumble into some really cool sounds you wouldn’t normally get out of a single box.
The VIBE side gives you that thick, liquid swirl—more of a feel thing than just an effect. It adds movement and depth without getting in the way, and you can dial it anywhere from a light pulse to a deep, vocal-like throb. The controls are simple enough to tweak on the fly, whether you just want a hint of motion or that full-on “Bridge of Sighs” vibe.
The Plexamp side brings that classic Marshall-style grit—warm, punchy, and super usable. It’s got enough range to shape your core tone, but it really shines when you run it with the VIBE and let the two interact. Flip the order, and it changes the response and feel quite a bit—suddenly it’s not just about tone, it’s about how the whole thing reacts under your fingers.
Thanks for looking!
