I have a bass guitar that HAS to have an active blend control. There are two pickups. One is a typical magnetic pickup “Hi Z” passive. One is a piezo bridge system with + and gnd output. FYI What really sucks is I created this bass along with Stuart Spector on a trout fishing expedition, drawn on a napkin. The original had a Fishman circuit which is LONG discontinued and Fishman disavows any knowledge (they can’t be bothered) and the one on MY own bass stopped working. I need a new circuit! I am NOT an engineer nor do I play one on tv, so I’m looking to you folks for a little guidance/assistance. I have a “buff n blend” pcb in the house (a few of them actually) and not sure if that’s gonna do it. Any advice? Thanks guys.

Did you sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night?

Sorry I can’t really help you, especially with something that sounds like an active circuit.  I know Premier Guitar has a lot of articles on pickup wiring.  Dirk Wacker has written a lot about pickup and guitar wiring mods, so maybe you could search there.  Otherwise, l’ve got nothing.  There are a lot of individuals on this board that have way more knowledge than I do.  Hopefully someone can help you.

You could likely do it with slightly modified BnB boards but you will need one per piezo as each will need to be buffered separately and then combined together (I think). Each piezo would be able to blend with the magnetic pickup , and thus each other, with any amount you want. Cool subject actually. I spit that out from a quick google search. There may be a simpler way with what Barry has available. Not sure. Good news is there is definitely a build-able circuit but you may have to piece together your own schematic.

I searched again. Here is a good start.
