A while back I bought four FV-1 based PCBs with the intention of loading them with delay algorithms and hooking them up in parallel for the ultimate ambient pedal. Alas am not as technically savvy as I should be and wanted to know the best way to go about doing this.

My initial plan is to use four GPCB Buff N’ Blends (one for each PCB being wired to the send/return loop). That said, I still wonder how this setup would reconcile with the mix control on the PCB itself. If all PCBs are wired to Buff N’ Blends, would the mix control still blend only the dry signal? Theoretically, I believe if I wire the Buff N’ Blends according to their build sheets with the A100K blend pots, I think it should work as individual mixer knobs for each of the four respective boards.

I would greatly appreciate someone with expertise to confirm whether this would work.

hi, i’m a novice but this is an interesting concept and i can’t quit thinking about it. i’d like to see other answers if others are intrigued.  i think there’s several ways to approach it. keep in mind, with the buff/blend board, you’ll have some switching decisions to make, and you can always bypass the bypass feature 😉  if you’re married to the blend-n-buff idea, you could go with consecutive ‘layers’ which might make an interesting soundscape:

or your could cascade from one to another, with a similar layout:

both i think, would create a similar outcome.  or, maybe you truly want a four-way parallel signal.  i am not sure about ‘splitting’ the initial signal into four, but once there, this link may open a rabbit’s hole for ya. i have a dual output buffer from the same source i plan to use for a stereo project in the future.

I decided to split the send and return paths into two. It turns out it works so long as there is a buffer!
