Looking at the schematic on the build doc, it seems the WF connection goes to lug 3 on the repeat pot and the other connection point for the momentary switch goes to lug 3 on a 5k trimpot, which feeds to lug 2 on the repeat pot.

If I was building another pt2399 (on strip board) could I theoretically do this mod by connecting a momentary switch to repeat lug 3 and the other momentary connection to a 5k resistor into lug 2 on repeats, or am I simplifying too much?

    Would that work?

Looking at the schematic one side goes to repeats 3 the other side would go to TR1 lug 1 with the small dot

You’d then be bypassing the trimmer when you press the switch as detailed in the build notes

You could definitely implement it or something similar to any PT2399 delay

What you’re actually doing is reducing the resistance going to repeats lug 2 if you look at a standard deep blue delay schematic it’s normally 2K you’d reduce that to 1K for infinite repeats when the feedback pot is fully CW
