Hi, building this pedal and having weird problem with putting stuff inside the enclosure. It seems that instructions PDF at Musikding.com has PCB’s in wrong positions OR they drilled holes wrong for enclosure OR I’m missing something as a beginner. the PDF shows in picture that Tweed PCB is on the right side (picture from bottomside) but now that I checked instructions here in the forums Tweed is on the leftside. The problem is that now that I have almost put pedal together, plug will not fit in the jack because Capacitors are in its way.

Any ideas which case is this? As total beginner I’m very confused 😀 Thanks in advance.

The circuits are designed to be placed in any order you prefer, and they also include order-switching functionality — so the actual sequence doesn’t matter.

The main issue I see is that the jack hole could’ve been positioned slightly closer to the outer edge. If you look at the other person’s build photo above and imagine moving their Tweed PCB to where the Fuzz PCB is, you can see that it would fit.

That said, you can still make this work. You’d just need to carefully desolder and then re-solder the capacitors to the opposite side of the PCB. Orientation won’t be a problem with those particular caps, and you’ll have enough clearance since there won’t be a potentiometer blocking the space.
