Having a bit of trouble.
Tested the Tone Tweq out of the circuit, works as it should. Wondering about putting it in the Muff’n.
Tone Tweq IN should come from J3(1) and Tone Tweq OUT should go to J4(2) correct? This is the Muff’n v3 board.
I just want to make sure this is correct before I go into deeper troubleshooting. Right now, Bypass is fine, but once engaged no sound. Master Volume seems to be working as the static gets louder, but no change from any of the tone tweq controls or the sustain knob. I am using the bc549c’s and yes I have the pinouts reversed. I also tried with 2n5088s in standard board orientation and same result.

The Muff’N should be tested without the Tone TwEQ first to ensure that it works. The Tone TwEQ was also tested OK? Then attach the Tone TwEQ IN to J3 on the LEFT pad and attach the Tone TwEQ OUT to J4 on the RIGHT pad as show in the diagram.
Power and Ground connections required for both boards.
That should work.
Tone tweq works for sure, I didn’t test Muff’n, I guess I should have. Just making sure about the above since the diagram in the build doc is from the old board and not the new one.
I had it attached right, so there is a problem with my muff’n build. I will look into that tomorrow.

So, I am basically an idiot.
My 9volt in was connected to the pad under the V in [+9v] which apparently doesn’t go anywhere. Once I hooked it up to the pad under the + in the [+9v] everything is peachy. I assumed that since both pads were in the same [ ] they were both connected.
It is amazing how one’s grumpiness can be erased by a working pedal!
So….how do you like it?
Quite a bit. The tone tweq adds so much over other muff builds I have done. I will post a pic when I finish it up in the next couple days.
