    R26 had a MARGINABLY questionable solder joint so i reflowed that. still no decay.

    Great.  A function Generator will not work because it is a continuous signal.

    If you have a good signal at IC1-pin16, then look for that signal at IC1-pin1, then IC1-pin8. Double check the values of R11 and R12.  They must be 330 OHM, not 330 K.

    i may have checked the wrong pin before because now IC1 pin 16 i get nothing.

    pin1 nothing

    3 very very quiet

    wah sounds pins 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12

    very quiet 13, 14

    pin 14 is dry signal

    pin 16 nothing

    If you have wah signal at IC1-pin 8, then you have gone through the majority of the circuit. Only C6 and R15 are left before the OUT jack.  All I have done is lead you through the schematic signal path.  Trace signal through those last items.

    Are you sure you are not expecting too much out of the Decay setting?

    Check out this demo of a commercial version.

    I have the video set for the Decay section. There is no tonal change just timing.

    You may need to up a video to show us beyond that.

    yeah Barry I guess I was. I followed along with the video and, with the right settings, I was able to hear a difference with the decay. I think it was sensitivity down and bias down to get the decay to be noticeable. anyway, I’m really happy with it. I think it sounds great.
