First off, thanks again Barry! I love the sale, but now I’m broke !

I’ve had this board a few months, and I’m glad I decided to finish it,

I’m calling it The Farnsworth because the dude is as groovy as gravy…wha?

It has a nice sweep, the sensitivity plays well with volume levels.
I found that biasing the resonance frequency with other controls preset, you can find a sweet spot for a tremolo-shimmer effect. Obviously, not a fasel-ish glow but darned close to my Crybaby mini. If I were to build another I would make it an external control.

I used BC107B instead of the BC550s.
Tested with a DCA55
Q1 hFE = 283
Q2 hFE = 285

Very nice. I’m curious how much difference the BC107s make compared to the 550s.

Probably not much…the 550s I have (I was out at the time of the build) are around the same gain range, maybe just a tad lower on the average. I’ll pop some in and see….err..hear.
