Another board I bought on a whim, but it has become one of my favorites. Got an old broken Rickenbacker amp off fb and was going to potentially throw this inside as the pre amp, but ended up loving it on its own too much. The Rick will have to wait.
Had to take a dremmel to the inside edge of the enclosure as I was again off a couple mm on my drilling, but other than that, great clean build. I bought this enclosure already painted, so still need to figure out what I want to put on the front but figured the army green was a nice choice.
Had some issues biasing the last JFET, but I think I’ve got it, since I believe the last trimmer biases Q3 and Q4, and my Q3 is fine. Q4 reading just seemed off, but I think the sound is fine. May take some time and dive into it when I finish some other builds though.
