Hey @Barry so I got those SwitchCraft 12A jacks in the mail, but looking at ’em I’m realizing that I’m still left with a hookup question:

I would assume that obviously the tip lugs on the SwitchCraft jacks connect to the [T] pads on the PCB’s send/return segments, while the other pad on those PCB segments connect to the sleeve lugs on the jacks.

However, what is to be done with that remaining contact lug in the center of each jack? Do those:

    • Get left completely alone?
    • Get somehow bridged to the tip or sleeve with a jumper?
    • Still have to be connected to the center pads on the PCBs II/IO segments, even though I’m not installing that feature?
    • Something else I haven’t thought of?

I used an incorrect term previously.

I meant to say Insert and not Send Return.

The Jacks are required at Insert.

Done? Out? With what are you done? And of what are you out? How do you mean?

Have you considered using your DMM to work out what is connected to what? Barry showed you how to use it. Have you done that?
