    NT PreAmp boost w/mod completed!

This is a great transparent boost. It is one of those pedals that you put on your board and ‘set it and forget it’. There was a question asked in another thread about putting a dpdt switch on the C1 capacitor and having a tight vs. normal mod. Barry said absolutely and suggested using a 220nF for the ‘normal’ tone and a 47nf for the ‘tight and bright’ tone. Barry’s suggestions work perfectly! I used a GuitarPCB DPDT wiring board with a DPDT switch (on-on) making this mod a breeze.
Just a side note about the build, the BOM calls for a 15uF capacitor at C4 and I was having trouble locating one. Barry suggested using a 22uf capacitor (very common). In fact I have many on them in my parts bin. Another great circuit from GuitarPCB!!

One final thing I forgot mention when I initially posted this, it that you have to reduce R1 to 10M (down from 22M) to make this mod function correctly.

Very nice and thanks for sharing.
I will have to add that to the build document.

Yes, the resistor value change is key to making the math work on the Mod.
