Another off the bench. I already have an MKC, but this is much smaller and sleeker. Saving pedalboard space.

The provided graphic seems to be for a 1590B and didn’t quite scale perfectly to a 125B. So I recreated it.

Opted for an uncommon, unobtrusive location for the Ultra Gain and Fat Boost mods. Otherwise any space available on the inside would put them in kicking range. Employed micro slide switches.

And the gut shot. Like most clipping diodes, I socketed these. Currently switched to a pair from my precious stock of 1n34As. When I get the chance to play at any volume, I’ll also be comparing my Russian D9Ks, D9Bs, and maybe some 1n60Ps and 1n914s.

Very Nice and thanks for sharing!

I would encourage everyone to use both Mods. I find them very useful especially when I switch guitars as it can be as simple as a flick of a switch to get what I want.

Yes, I do appreciate both mods.
The fat mod especially, just brings in some fullness. Might not be what you want if you’re playing lead and want to stay focused in the range, but it brings some lush feeling if you have room for it.
I do wish there was space to fit switches on the face, but I’ll just have to look for some switches with a low profile below.

I’m not stressed about it. The plan is kind of set it where I like and leave it on. Magic mojo or not, finding the right setting does kind of make everything else sound better, and cuts out a lot of fiddling trying to get other pedals to do it.
