InactiveHi everyone !
I’ve just finished build Mini Me Chorus and there is a difference between the real PCB and the 2020 building document, there is no RX ( R1 is at the original RX place in mine ) and R31 is replaced by D5 (wich is not mention in the building document) ..
unforyunatly the effect do not work
some other things seem to be different but I can’t found a PCB picture like mine on internet, only original and 2020 versions :(, i ordered this kit on Das Musikding
do someone have an idea or had the same problem ?
cheers everyone, have a nice day
Alan

BillyModeratorHi Alan
Could you post pictures of the pcb and offboard wiring so that we can clearly see all components and trace the wiring
The most common errors with the mini me are not placing the BBD jumpers in or placing them incorrectly and not wiring the 2nd ground G2
Do you get bypass signal

BarryKeymasterI will contact Klaus for you.
This was released slightly prior to me having the new 2021 build document ready.
This is an honest error and my fault for not having the build document done sooner.
Unfortunately the new part list has changed too much.
Hopefully you have socketed the IC chips as opposed to soldering them directly in the board?
Let me know.

InactiveThank you too much for your responsiveness !
my IC are socketed 🙂
my Mini ME is wired on my usual test board (without bypass fottswitch), i made some measurement, effectively the input impedance is 220 K, and should be 1 M like in the shcematic, i will test replace it but do you now where i have to put the 220 K resistor then ?
i am sure about the polarity of the DC voltage, then i replaced D5 with a jumper ( that i cut on the picture to let you see the D5 location)
are all the resistor value corresponding to them number ? or do they correspond with there older places on the board ?
sorry for english issues i am french !
here are some pictures :

Thank you again , have a nice day !

BarryKeymasterThe Mini-Me 2021 schematic looks like this.
Klaus should be contacting you soon about this.
Every time I look at the Mini-Me schematic I say in French: Jai tant reve du toi. 🙂

InactiveHello again!
i tried to watch in your schematic what was changed between the older guide and the new PCB and every resistor is at another place :/
i just cant desolder everything to resolder it at another place and DasMusikding don’t contact me, do you have any new from them ?
i think i will need a replacement kit, is this possible for Klaus ?
have a nice day !
