    Hello,

    i also built the emexar micro amp and i do have question. In my opinion it fits best in this thread.

    I finished the built. The pedal is working but not as i expected. In my built the gain poti only boost the guitar volume and do not give any crunch to the signal. Is this normal? I expected the pedal to add some overdrive to my guitar sound.

    Please let me know which infos you need to probably help me.

    The Micro Amp is a clean boost ever since the 70’s it was a way to get your amp tubes to break up.

    If you want crunch then that is why they made the DIST+ and other circuits.

    Thanks for your reply and sorry for that question.

    It is aktually a really cool pedal to get a thicker sound out of my hot rod deluxe with my strat an ssl-1 pickups. It is hard to describ how it sounds – not as glassy as before i would say. Thanks for that!
