InactiveChris’s Mars Hall of Fame made me realize I had yet to build my own Marshall style pedal. As most of the Marshall style PCBs are straightforward, I decided to go big or go home with my own three in one build. My build may not look as good as Chris’s but I’ll argue it sounds just as good ;). I present to you, Marshall Law.

It features a right to left chain instead of a left to right. I wanted the models of Marshall to be in left to right chronological order. It features a Blues Busterr w/ Afterblaster into a Plexi Plus into a Cranky Charles. What really surprises me the most about this build is how even though the Blues Buster is the first pedal in the circuit in the chain, it completely influences the latter two when engaged. Hope you enjoy!

ChuckParticipantWith that many Marshalls in one box that has to be heavy! Haven’t seen anybody use a stomp switch in place of the sliders on the After Blaster before (or I just missed it). Good job!

InactiveThank you! The Plexi stacked with the Cranky Charles approaches doom metal sound territory. The funny thing is if the Blues Buster is engaged, the treble cuts through and makes it feel more classic.
As for the Afterblaster, I like being able to toggle a boost with just a single foot switch as opposed to always having it on with the DIP switches. Barry, when do you think you can produce a Afterblaster or similar boost PCB with solder pads for two 3PDTs that can fit in a 125B? 😉

ChrisParticipantThis looks awesome, I don’t know what you are talking about. I am sure it sounds killer on top of that! Love the combination of Marshalls and I also like to use a footswitch for the afterblaster and replace the trimpot with a regular pot to adjust the volume for a solo boost. Nicely done man!

BarryKeymasterNice Combo!
Try squeezing a Buff N Blend in there for a Marshal Fest that won’t influence the other when playing circuits in Tandem.

InactiveChris, thank you!
Barry, I’ll keep that in mind. For the purposes of this build, I am actually find it a bonus that the Blues Buster has such a pronounced effect being first in the chain. It greatly increases the overall versatility of the pedal when stacked.
