Finished a stock Industrial Fuzz earlier today, the second of 3 pedals I have been working on for a few weeks.  I had a little issue with grounding on this pedal as with my previous build, as the LED lit up when pushing the footswitch without a guitar jack in the input.  I checked the wiring twice and everything was correctly connected with respect to grounding and power.  Using my trusty continuity tester, I discovered there was a connection between RIng and Sleeve for some reason and I suspect it was a bad jack, the last of my Radio Shack supply that was obtained cheaply during their going out of business sale.  Nothing was wrong with the DC power jack.  After replacing the jack with a new one everything worked properly.  This is one knarly, crazy fuzz and I love it.  Does a great Fuzz Face imitation, velcro fuzz, octave fuzz, and other wonky goodness.

Extra points for correct identification of the Industrial complex pictured below.

Barry you got Steel correct.  The picture is of Youngstown Sheet and Tube during its heyday and was one of the largest producers of steel in the world at the time.  My grandfather and aunt worked there their entire careers, and my father and uncle were able to get summer employment there when in college.  The picture is of the Campbell works as opposed to the Brier Hill works further up the valley.  YS&T ended in September of 1977 on what is called Black Monday when 5,000 people lost their jobs.
