Huge volume drop on mammoth fuzz

Hi all,

Does anything here look particularly out of order? I’m getting a huge volume drop when engaged. Fuzz sound is good but the volume completely drops off no matter how I tweak the knobs.

Any advice on how to kick up the volume would be greatly appreciated.

• Check transistor voltages.
• Verify resistor values.
• Reflow.
• verify correct transistor per location

An Audio Probe is a fantastic tool to easily locate a problem area. See Guides Page.

Side note: I suggest pushing the wire through the PCB pad until the PVC is flush with the PCB and then soldering from the opposite side. This will prevent issues down the road with wires breaking off as well.
