    Hello again,

I am having trouble with a sabotage pedal build. The effect works, but there is an ever-present oscillation.  The oscillation is the same as you hear if you put an audio probe on the 9v power supply path.  The oscillation is not present whilst playing a tasty lick, but returns when strings are muted. I have checked and rechecked.  I reflowed solder and replaced the transistors. I checked all component values.  I checked components with a multimeter before installing.  Everything checked out.  I purchased transistors through guitar pcb. They are socketed. My only suspects are possible bad electrolytic capacitors. I posted pictures of my build in an earlier post.  Thank you for any advice you might give.

Try powering it with a battery.  If the oscillation goes away, the issue may be the power supply.
