I always make notes on the back plate of my builds – mostly just the board name and build date.  In the case of this one I’ve written a substantial paragraph.  This started out as the 2014 original issue Mini-Me with a 3PDT Buffer, in 2017 I found a Flanger mod based on the Small Clone and all was good for a while.  Then Wilkie1 posted his Roto-Tone Deluxe Flanger mod and Chris posted his Mini-Me with the Buff-n-Blend which got me thinking and the poor old Mini-Me went back under the soldering iron again.  The switch marked S (for slow) adds a 10uf cap in parallel with C21 to slow down the rate – theDPDT switch originally had 150 pf and 30 pf caps for stock and flanger modes as well as the 10uf, I removed the smaller caps and associated wiring but left the 10uf as it was.  The Roto-Tone Deluxe (on the side of the box) ranges from stock chorus through some interesting flangery goodness.

    Here’s the box:

    And the guts:

The flangery thing is really kind of ‘meh’ with low to medium gain pedals but works great with my Ratt Deluxe, London Fuzz PUFF and ADD.

    Thanks for looking,

    Chuck

Nicely done!  Love the rate shift switch and the roto-tone, but I can’t say enough how much I love the Buff’nBlend. Looks great, bet it sounds killer!
