Not really an effect pedal question…
I was asked if i could build a footswitch for a friend’s Supro Delta King amp. I looked online and it seems the one offered by Supro does not have any LED’s to show status. These are dual latching switches and a TRS connection. I built one similar for my AC15 (Tremelo and Reverb vs Boost and Drive on the Supro) but it has LEDs. I am guessing that the internals on the Supro are not able to support the LED’s. Is this a good assumption?
Finally, if the above assumption is correct, my plan would be to use DPDT’s and a 9v battery to run the LED’s. My friend would like the LEDs. Is this the best / only solution for this?
Use 2PDT switches. The extra pole can be used to control a status LED. You can install a 9V battery and CLRs to power the LEDs.
