I would like to make the micro amp with a On, On, On, switch that will have diodes in the negative feedback (Tube Screamer) then to hard clipping in front of the loop, then to no clipping.  Can this be done?

I believe I have a switching solution figured out.  I wonder if Barry would like to make this a little contest to see who can come up with a correct solution?  I recall that TONMANN did this for us a few years back.

This is the best response I have ever seen!!  Above all I am thankful that you are willing to take the time to help out a fellow solder sniffer, but a contest!!!, this is becoming very exciting very quickly!

Any updates?  I think I may have a way to do it, but my main question is if I put the diodes on a 2pdt switch would I put the diodes in series from one leg of the input to the output of the switch?

what I mean to say is the input leg of the switch to the output.

I’m waiting to see a diagram from users.

Since we have not had any responses to the challenge, I guess I should just publish the solution I made.

This is great!  Thank you again!  I was starting this project on the Aeon drive but the Drive is so powerful that it clips the op amp relatively quick.  Not a lot of clean head room when the diodes are off.  Looking at your switching I can see where I think I am off on my diodes and n series.  I will post some pics on that later.  I am very grateful for your time and that there is even a place like this to talk shop!
