Dr. Phybes PCB for Vibe and Blend/Mix Mod As Well

Hello, I am looking to build a phase 90 and was recommended the Dr. Phybes PCB as it already has the script and phase 45/90 mods but want the Vibe mod with a toggle swith (Not just changing the value of the capacitors) as well as a blend knob to control the mix of wet/dry signal. Does anyone have experience adding these two mods to this PCB or has any reccomendations or guidance on how to do these extra mods to this circuit? This would be my first ever build but not first time modding a pedal so while the process of modding isn’t completely foreign to me, I am certainly very very inexperienced and need all the help I can get.

Hi Max,

You could use a Buff N Blend to add a Blend however any Phase 90 circuit is going to be inverted so you cannot do that without adding an extra stage to the Buff N Blend loop in series with the Phybes so that the Phase is no longer inverting. A Stage 3 would be a good example.

You could build a Paramix which is an excellent tool to truly MIX wet and dry signals for any individual pedals you wish to insert in the loop and has a phase switch to instantly solve any issues.

You will not be able to change the Phybes to a Vibe with just a toggle switch.
