Just built a couple of these with the tap tempo pcb and chipset from Tone God.  First off, this really is the BEST D’Lay I’ve had the pleasure of sitting down with.  It just sounds fantastic.  The modulation is a huge plus and also is a ton of fun.  My only issue is that I’ve not been able to achieve infinite repeats with the WF mod.  I’ve got an 8k2 resistor in RA, used a NO momentary footswitch going from the WF pad to pin 1 on TR1 and I’ve messed with TR2 turning it fully CW & CCW -unfortunately the best I get is a very subtle swell and perhaps a few tails.  It doesn’t get loud or crazy.  While that setting does sound fantastic, I’d love to be able to achieve the infinite repeats and the loud craziness.

The only thing that I can come up with is that I may have used a 100ohm trimpot instead of the 100k ohm.  Would that cause the WF mid to be very subtle and not achieve infinite repeats?  Unfortunately, I do not have the build any longer, but I’ve already ordered more D’Lay pcbs and would like to get this figured out.

    Thank you kindly!

Curious if anyone else has had this issue?  Thank you for your time!

Got the pedal back.  Realized I misspoke earlier regarding TR1’s value (mistakenly calling it 100k).  I’ve verified that it is, indeed, a 5k trimpot as per build docs.  Still no loud or infinite repeats when the momentary (NO) footswitch is depressed.  Only very subtle trails.  This is happening on both D’Lay w/ Tap Tempo that I built.  Aside from that, everything else works perfectly.  I don’t suppose anyone can point me in the right direction?  Thank you kindly.

Alright, I’m a dummy.  The secret sauce for infinite repeats mod is RA and not the trimmer, which makes perfect sense now that I’m thinking more about it, as the WF mod bypasses TR1.  So, if anyone else comes across this issue, RA needs to be reduced lower than the 8k2 it calls for.  5k1 is a good start, but quickly gets very loud and begins to distort after around 3-5 seconds.  6k2 gives you infinite repeats without the super loud/distorted repeats.  Hope that helps someone down the road!
