Hey all….I just finished a tube preamp/OD pedal, but I’m not too happy with the limits of the tone adjustment of it. Being a Tube, it requires an 18V power supply and .5 Amp current. I have a spare tonetweq board sitting around, and thought about adding that to the circuit. Question is, will I be able to just wire it in series as the build guide says, or will I have problems with 18V running through it?
Will I just have to have 2 power supplies on the pedal and just chain the signal?

The ToneTwEQ will work nicely with 18VDC as long as the electrolytic cap is rated 1.5 times the supply voltage. i.e. 1.5 X 18 = 27VDC.
Great to hear. Thanks for the assistance. That’s the exact value cap that the PD board needed….good thing I bought extras at 50V. I just hope it fits in the footprint.. I’ll make it work, I’m sure.
