    Hello all,

I have a question about how to wire a combo pedal which has 2 different pedals inside with 2 inputs and 2 outputs. It is clear for me to separate the connections for each channel as inputs and outputs but I couldn’t figure out what to do also use 1 input and 1 output like a normal way. Any ideas?

    Cheers

Thank you very much for the link Billy. I have already checked this document but couldn’t find the answer. Maybe I am not experienced enough to understand using the document . Could you help me please to figure out? I am trying to apply analogman king of tone 4 jack option to the combo pedals.

Now I understand.  The Analogman King of Tones has 2 identical effects in one enclosure.  It has 2 inputs and 2 outputs.  You could use them in series (one feeding into the other) or use them in parallel.  Here is an example:

Sorry Nouri I missed that bit

Wilkie to the rescue though and he’s the man as you can see

    Cheers Ray!

Hi again, thank you very much for your time. I think I couldn’t explain well my problem. My bad sorry about it. Here is the analogman explanation:

“If you use a remote switching system, or want a pedal or pedals between the two sides of the KOT, you might want separate inputs and ouputs for each side. You can still use two jacks like the normal KoT and go through both sides. The jacks are “normalized” so when you plug into just the two outer jacks, the signal is routed through both sides just like a normal KOT”

    Cheers

I’m happy to hear that analogman was able to answer you question.

Yes Wilkie, Analogman explains well the situation but I’d like to know how to do it. Any idea?

Did you try to use the outer 2 jacks as analogman suggested?  That should give you both effects in series.  If you want a parallel option, use the wiring diagram I provided above which uses an additional DPDT switch.
