Hello everyone. I have a question regarding signal path options in a combination pedal. The concept is putting the model T, ratt and ancestral verb into one enclosure, however I’m not sure what to do with the signal path, I’m considering if something like a rototone could be used to provide multiple path options? Is it possible or is it worth it? Should I just make them into single boxes?

    Thanks.

There’s a few ideas for combination wiring here

One concept that is often overlooked is to use parallel paths for pedal wiring.  This method keeps the signal from adversely affecting an effect.  “That Pedal Show” on Utube did a great job of covering this technique.

For now, the best advice is to try different options and use what you like.

If you really want to get crazy, you could venture into the use of microprocessors, digital switching and CV applications.  But, I think I’ll just stay with simpler analog techniques.

“I just LOVE wires and sparks!”
