Colortone Overdriver – Treble and bass control don’t work

Hello everybody,

the pedal works, I like it a lot, it has a nice texture, it is silent. Everything would be perfect if high and low control worked.

In the lower side of the pcb there is some insulating tape to avoid short circuit in the box.

I am attaching photos to help you to help me solve this problem.

I know that I don’t have to solder the transistors directly on the pcb and that’s why I take the opportunity to check these values:

I would suggest that you carefully re-flow all of your solder joints both on-board and off-board.

I see many suspect solder joints.

You’re right Barry, I went over the welds in suspicious spots and now the highs and lows work great.
