If one wanted to use up a stash of NPN Germaniums would it be possible to bypass the charge pump on the Pumped Up series boards? Possibly jumping pins 5 and 8, and omitting C7 and C8 on the PUFF and PURP?

Chuck,
Short answer is yes, you can do it. Longer answer is, you’re close. C7 would not be needed, and while C8 is not needed, you could certainly populated it as long as you put it in the reverse orientation as marked on the PCB. This would give you 2x the power buffering as C6 would provide alone, and may not make your board look quite as empty.
The only other thing that needs to be changed is the orientation of C1 and C5. Those also would be installed with opposite polarity of the board markings.
I didn’t look at the PURP, but similar stuff would apply. I would just Google the NPN version of the circuit you’re trying to build, and look for differences between that and what we show in our schematic.

If I had NPN Germanium I think I would also try using them in some other circuits like Sriracha, Muff’n, DSOTM or whatever and see what that sounds like. One of the best ever Muffs I built was an NPN Germanium build using the gain ranges of the 1st Muffs instead much higher like the later ones.

Barry, a while back I built a Muff sort of to Creamy Dreamer specs using an OC141 and 3 OC140s for the transistors, and 4 TFK OA128s for the diodes – it was a glorious thick fuzzy bottom heavy monster.
I had a new member ask about issues with a PUFF he built and in the process of the discussion he finally mentioned that he had used BC108s – literally like two days before you put up your latest batch of Germaniums for sale. That discussion was running through my head while I was thinking about other projects as well as old builds and my current desire to “standardize” my board. I’ve been back burnering silicon fuzz faces and possibly revamping two NPN MK II Tonebenders into 125Bs. The PUFF and PUTB boards will make those a bit easier.

I would consider maybe a 1590DD Fuzz Combo Build.
You can put 3 Fuzz circuits in one enclosure and have space for all of the Mods you want like “Voltage Starve”, “Emerald Ring” and Easy Order switcher for all of the Fuzz stacking greatness and nastiness you could get into a single enclosure. You would obviously still maintain all of the simple Fuzz greatness as well.
