    I can’t seem to get any sound coming through this build, I have double checked all resistor & capacitor values. I used SMD 2N5457 adapters and lined them up DSG matching the through hole 2N5457 pinout. I checked for solder bridges but can just not seem to get this kicking, even after reflowing all joints. Messed with the biasing for about half an hour and was able to get the most faint, low volume crackle to pass through. Not sure what else to do here!

    Post some pics so we can see and trace all of your offboard wiring to 3PDT, in and out jacks and DC jack

    I don’t know if different manufacturers have different pinouts but D and S pins are opposite on this pinout I used Barry’s through hole ones on my build at 0.79c each you can’t beat that price

    Where did you get your smd ones
