Big Muff OpAmp – Bass Mod Switch?

Hi All,

I attempted to incorporate a switch based on this suggestion in the BMP OpAmp build notes: Bass Mod: Change C1 from 100n to 470n. This will allow all Bass frequencies through.

I have a SPDT switch between the two caps as per the diagram below currently built into the pedal. I don’t hear much difference when flipping the switch however. Did I go about this the wrong way, or is this bass mod just incredibly subtle?

I believe that if you want to A/B those capacitors you will have to use a DPDT switch… See attached diagram.
