InactiveHey Y’all!
Just build my bass overdrive v1, and the pedal is just silent. No sound even in bypass. When pressing footswitch, there is lot of hum even when the volume is down and the potentiometers act like mics when touching them? Never happened something like that. Any tips?

BillyModeratorSounds like a power issue how are you powering it

CybercowParticipantThe first thing that stands out for me is that the pots are soldered in backwards. On the PCB, the #1 pins for the pots are connected to leg #3 of the pots. By any chance is it actually working – but backwards?

BarryKeymasterWhen there is no sound in bypass that indicates a wiring issue since in bypass it bypasses the entire circuit board leaving only the In and Out Jacks and 3PDT switch in the audio path.
You have the Yellow wire connect to the RING of the Stereo Pot which is for a battery only. Remove Yellow wire from RING lug and connect the wire to the TIP lug which is the part of the Jack that connects to the TIP of your guitar cable.

That said the board was not really designed for On board pots but you can still use them by mounting the Pots to the other side following the silkscreen rule. There are some handy charts on the Guides Page for reminders.
I think that will get you going just fine. Be careful not to ruin the pads when desoldering the Pots.
Oh and Bias the transistors with your DMM and Trimmers per the directions. Each Drain leg should be 4.5 to 6.5 volts

InactiveNow i dont get it. Took my pedalboard to home, and now the pedal works on bypass, but when switching on, the pedal makes really phasy overdrive sound just a monent and then volume drops. Like there is not sustain at all. Opened enclosure and looked trims, the values have changed and the middle one doesnt trim at all.
First 3 pictures after opening enclosure. Trimmed all ~ 5v and now numbers are these.
Next i trimmed all 3 again near 5v, but the tr2 stays 9v no matter what.
