Finished up this afternoon. Fired up perfectly on the first try. Holy Moley this thing is loud – louder with the boost engaged! For at home use the volume is going to have to be kept between 8 and 9 o’clock. Here’s the pics –
Box:

Guts:

3PDT and ADD boards from Barry along with 1N34A, 2N7000s and the red/green LED. Pots, wire, jacks and fiddly stuff from Small Bear. The box is one of Small Bear’s painted Taiwanese “B” boxes. Knobs are mini Chicken Heads in cream. Labeling was done with calendar book stickers, dragon fly in the corner is a craft stamp – everything coated with matte clear. C4 is socketed and currently populated with a 1nf cap as mentioned in the BOM – may be a bit bright for my taste so I’ll play with that a bit. Current IC is an NE5532P.
Barry and Tonmann did good with this one.
Thanks for looking,
Chuck
PS I’m going to pretend the precise fit of the boost switch was intentional.
