Adding EQ to Dist+

I’ve built up the Emexar pedal and would like to add the GBOF Muff EQ to it. Where should I insert it?

It’s passive so I would try it after the clipping diodes

I’d omit C6 and put the input of the tonestack to C6 non grounded pad and output to volume 3

You want to place it after the amplification stage IC1 to avoid output attenuation

@Wilkie1 or Cybercow are the men for this so they may have a better idea

That would work.  Although I prefer the greater versatility of the ToneTwEQ because it has a MID control and all controls boost or cut.

I finished the Dist+ as well a few months back and added the Super Tone TwEQ to it as well. Great pedal and as wilkie1 stated you get the option of the MID as well.

Thank you. I have several TTs just waiting for the right project. This one was just a fun compact project. I’ve built several GBOF projects, but not the EQ. I’ll see how it goes and report back. Thanks all!
