Hi! Need some assistance with the Dsotm fuzz. I’ve hooked it up and the sound is coming through before I turn it on. When I do though it gives just loud static. Turning the different pots I can hear the static change so at least the pots work.

More folks will come to your rescue if you post the photos directly here so they do not have to travel elsewhere to look for photos as well as being able to look at all photos at once.

Use the picture frame tool in the tool bar to upload your photos.

I would also rotate images so it is easier to check with proper orientation.

At a glance I see a problem on the back solder joints.

I would reflow most joints. They should not be that big and round. That can result in a cold solder joint. Notice in the photo with the pink arrow pointing to a joint that was cold and separated from the board. Hold the fine conical tip to the pad and lead and allow the solder to absorb into the pad hole. Then lift up along the lead so there is not that much solder left behind.

Another point worth noting is that the exposed backs of the pots can easily short out the solder points beneath them.
