InactiveThis is one of my cleaner builds. I’ve checked and re-checked the build docs, but I’m not getting any signal when engaged. The bi-pass works, and the two color LED works. Maybe I’m missing something, and the GuitarPCB hive can see something I can’t.

BillyModeratorMake sure your in and out cables go to the correct sockets it’s very easy to put your out cable to in socket and visa versa with the box the wrong way up
You’d still get bypass but no effect
All components I can see look correct can’t clearly see the resistors at the top of the board or D2

InactiveI hadn’t thought about checking the direction of my cables. That wasn’t the problem unfortunately. I added a couple more pictures

InactiveThere’s definitely some differences in the build doc Compared to what I have here. For instance I have a ground running from the foot switch on the output side to the sleeve of the output jack. I’m not sure if that would make this difference though.

BarryKeymasterIt is too difficult to make out where the wiring is going.
Maybe draw a picture showing us the connections you have made between the IN/Out Jacks and the wiring board and the main board.
Also you can check for continuity yourself to try and see what is not correct. This guide is for a standard foot-switch wiring but it uses a similar wiring scheme as the wiring board.

InactiveI tried to label the off-board wiring the best I can. Still no signal. Let me know if you see anything I could try.

CybercowParticipantAt this point, as next steps, I’d un-stuff the guts and examine the solder-side for any solder bridges. Once that is verified, I would apply a signal probe and trace the audio into, thru and out of the main board.

InactiveCan you point me to a tutorial to trace the signal with an” probe?
definitely no solder bridges

BillyModeratorHere’s a PDF explaining the audio probe and it’s use etc
