ChrisParticipantI just finished this one today and thought I’d share. A few months back I built one of Barry’s Diamond Drive circuits and named it the Royal Overdrive, in a reference to Queen. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago and I was browsing the boards to see what I felt like building next and I picked up a 69 Stones Drive board. As I awaited the shipment to come in I began doing my research and reading over the schematics when I began feeling deja-vu. That’s when I realized how close the circuits are to each other and set my imagination running. The Royal Stoner…with a crooked crown…yea, that’s funny, and why not throw in a boost as well?
So, what’s inside? 69 Stones Drive, 2 x Easy Mod boards, Two Knob Job & and AfterBlaster.
What does it do? Flip all three Switches to “Royal” for the Diamond Drive, Flip all three to “Stoner” for the 69 Stones Drive, or flip them in whatever combination you like for a custom sound.
The middle switch is the two knob job and selects which Drive knob is active. This is really cool to mess around with and hear what each circuit sounds like with more or less gain, full range response or the hi pass filter. Was a tight build, almost didn’t think I was gonna make it.

I remembered to take some in-build pictures this time so here is one with just the Afterblaster and the Two Knob Job set up as well as the two cap-switching…switches.

And here is a completed gut shot. Since I didn’t use the led on the TKJ, I tapped into that power source, and mounted the CLR for my boost led to the TKJ since it was close enough

Thanks for looking! Happy building!
