Its exceptionally wide gain range takes you from a strong, open boost to thick, harmonically saturated overdrive, while allowing the character of your guitar and amplifier to remain intact. The gain responds directly to your playing, staying relatively clean with a lighter touch and becoming progressively more aggressive as you dig in, giving chords and single notes a distinctly amp-like response.
An active, low-noise dual-band EQ gives you independent control over the bass and treble response, making it easy to shape the circuit around your particular guitar and amplifier. The PowerStage can be used to push a clean amplifier, add another gain stage to an already-driven rig, or provide its own complete overdrive voice.
