I have yet to name this one and dress it up with knobs. The first one I built was easy because I bought the lovely printed enclosure from G-PCB … those were the days. Regardless, it sounds just as ampy – boosty as the other one.

I will soon be offering brand new solutions to your woes.

Its going to be a few weeks, hopefully sooner.

Excellent build and thanks for posting.

    All dressed up:

Great guitarists have soul, so too does the Soul-dano in Mule Kicker form.

I have built two Mule Kicker’s plus a Mule. Most preamp pedals work better through an amp loop. The Mule is astounding straight into the front of the amp … the first preamp circuit I’ve ever used that sounds like the real deal.

Crumpred, SBP Azurite finish on the 1590xx??

I assembled a mule kicker for a buddy of mine who wanted the most visually “loud” pedal I could manage.
Tayda neon yellow/green powder coat, with small mXR style blue knobs with the center reflectors… in fact I posted it over the summertime in my show off post.

It’s a mighty pair of circuits, for sure!!

That’s right … I think SBP is getting them from Cusack. I can powder coat, but I don’t want to collect a ton of pigments. I was looking at my paint shelf and found three different shades of light blue from Prismatic.

Here’s the Wylde Child I did in the same finish:

SBP and Cusack Mgf are different sides of the same coin, as I understand.
You roll your own powder coat, eh? That’s something I have never ventured into.  Rattle cans all the way here, and used to do a lot of airbrush work back 20 years ago.  Still have a pretty nice Iwata setup, but haven’t used it in 15 years.
