Finally got around to adding the Gain Mod with a switch to select between Normal Gain and “More Gain.”
Just unbelievable how this mod adds to the versatility of the MKC! To me, the stock MKC (with an External Clean Blend control added) was just sort of meh to me. I was disappointed in a so called Klon variant. However, with the gain mod to increase overall gain really brings this pedal to life! Much more versatile. To me, this should be a standard part of the MKC (board mounted switch for the mod would be helpful) because it is really an essential addition to the stock circuit. From a Clean Boost to near distortion with the ability to blend in clean signal really makes this pedal shine.
