    Hi,

I have looked through the guides and see that R9 can be different values but I have a question about where, exactly, to solder R9 on the v2 board given there are 2 legs on the resistor but 3 possible holes in the PCB. Would someone please guide me on placement of R9? I have included an image to help:

    Thanks,

    Eric

Use the standard 2 outer pads looking at the pcb image the square middle pad connects to the right hand side outer pad the other outer pad to ground you could continuity check to verify as you can see in the schematic one side of R9 connects to R10 the other side to ground

I’m not sure why the square middle pad is there maybe for 1/8th watt resistors if you use a weird value you can’t get in 1/4 watt size

Thanks, I will double check when I get home and continue with the build – much appreciated.

That extra tiny hole is called a VIA.

When a board is that compact sometimes it is necessary to create a via although we try to avoid it at GPCB.
