As many of you know, I’ve always aimed to keep GuitarPCB pricing fair and accessible — especially through the Bonus PCB Program, created as a thank-you for your continued support — crucial at this time — and as an incentive to help offset rising costs for you.

Unfortunately, the global trade landscape has changed dramatically. Between dual-layered tariffs and international shipping surcharges, my cost to import and restock PCBs has increased by over 60%. Meanwhile, international sales — once a key part of GuitarPCB’s business — have slowed sharply. I used to receive orders from Canada weekly, but have only had one in seven months, and even long-time distributors have reduced orders.

To be clear, there is no U.S.-based, non-tariffed option anywhere near sustainable for small-batch runs like mine. I typically order just 50 pieces per project, and at that scale my personal cost would be roughly double what I currently charge in my Shop. Even if there were an option, it would not solve the current lack of international business issue.

👉 Beginning with Round 16, the minimum purchase required to qualify for Bonus PCBs will increase from $10 to $15 in merchandise.
This modest change helps offset these rising costs while still giving you extra circuits and great value with every order which are all greatly appreciated.
