GuestBarry – The drill guide for the NostalgiTone DSOTM in the build guide is too small. Can you post a full size one please?
Also thanks for the explanation on the Vibe and phaser circuits. I know FETs need to be matched for the phaser to sound it’s best but I wonder if the same goes for LDRs. At least LDRs are easier to source, finding the ones with the right resistances anyway.
I’m still blown away with how cool the vibe sounds.

BarryKeymasterBuild document drill guide has been updated. Download the build document again and be sure to refresh so you are not getting a cached copy. You will be able to tell as it will be exactly 20% larger than the previous one. Thanks for pointing it out.
I am glad you found the explanation useful. FETs only need matched because of their extremely poor tolerance. With LDRs you only need to use the correct part.
I am glad you are enjoying the Vibe.

GuestBarry, I noticed the same with the 60s triple combo. The drill guide and graphic is too small.
Almost done with my first couple of builds!
Thanks.

BarryKeymasterI am very surprised no one brought this up sooner. Thanks for letting me know.
It was a margins setting preventing it from being correct.

GuestSorry, I’m looking at it at work with a ruler, but it still looks too small. It measures 6-11/16″ from end of the face to the other end on the drilling template and 6-1/2″ for the artwork. The png I printed for the artwork was almost 7″.

BarryKeymasterI printed it out and it matched the exact size of the enclosure. (see image below)
Are you sure you do not have any scaling going on. Did you refresh so you are not getting CACHED COPY?

GuestThank you! As soon as I refreshed it, the size changed. Appreciate your time.

BarryKeymasterI would use the PDF image for silkscreen as well.
