i’m real happy with the final results despite a few problems from my own haste.  the Ruetz mod has an external switch with three values 1Ohm, 40Ohm and 101 Ohm.  the enclosure is left-overs from one of my first epic failures.  i noticed that the drill pattern would exactly fit the ratt, if i could clear the top of the toggle switches, so i used some hi-rise, pcb-mount pots.  this strategy works for a 125B enclosure, but would be too tall for a 1590B.  the original enclosure had the led above the knobs and i used that hole for the Ruetz mod switch.  all in all, a perfect fit.

    cheers, y’all!

Clever solutions and a fine build!

I also like the Peroni Nastro Azzuro beer advertisement!  The national beer of Italy!  One of my favorites!
