I’m building the Guitar/Bass Driver pre-amp and it would be useful to be able to run a direct out to the board as well as a line out to my amp. Has anyone ever added a direct out to a pre-amp, or amp simulator pedal?
I have had the same thing on my “to do” list for a while but have never gotten around to trying anything. There is a stripboard layout on the Parasit Studios DIY pages. The schematic that was used is from https://sound-au.com/project35.htm There is some good information in the write up.
i have used a active DI board from GGG for that purpose. it has built in ground lift and phase polarity features and seems to have a decent audio response. https://store.generalguitargadgets.com/collections/pcbs/products/direct-box-active-rts-pcb
