Hi all, I’ve been hanging around the forum for a while, and after playing guitar for 25 years I finally took the plunge into making my own gear.

    Here’s my efforts so far.

A Fools Gold from Codaeffects to get me started (something easy to get me started!).
    Then a Ratt Deluxe.
Then a Sunn T Preamp. – the sunn t was the hardest so far, and I had to use a transistor socket different from the rest as I seemed to have lost one. We were in covid lockdown for a few weeks (Melbourne, Australia) and I could’nt get parts so used what I had around.

I’m getting better at the etching process. Had mixed results at first with time/strength of solution.  Also tried many different variations of the toner transfer process, but think I have that down now.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks! I really appreciate your comments! I’ve always liked making things so this is my new passion! Plus the $$$’s I’m saving is making my own pedals is making the wife happy, wish I started years ago! Also finding it extremely rewarding. Just want to add you guys do a fantastic job supporting everybody here, and I’ve learnt so much reading your replies to everyone’s problems!  I’m building a Best Ever OD next and I’m go to try something a bit different with the etch finishing, maybe some different fill colour’s or something like that. I’m also gonna try etching the sides.
