I am looking for some GuitarPCB Pedal Art for a few upcoming projects.

If you would like to have your GuitarPCB pedal available for consideration please post a nice resolution photo in this thread.

I am not overly concerned with backgrounds I just want some good looking pedal shots.

The green is not a fuzz face. It is a ShoNuff. It’s it’s done with alcohol inks, same as #2. Something completely different from the typical water slide or sticker most everyone else does.

Heres a Killer Bee.  Wish I had my Dr. phybes done.  Waiting on material.  Dexters Lab themed, but all I have is the graphics file.

I really need some more Pedal Photos please.

Here are a few I have put into a card format to show what the circuits are and what they can look like.

Playsforfun – please tell us more about the “Wayward Son” Clever bit of labeling with a great homage to Kansas.

Here is the original posting link for the presentation of the Wayward Son. I had to read it myself to remember the particulars. It’s been a moment since its conception. Here’s how it probably went.

So I put the Wayward Son together early on, during my fun with diodes phase. It’s geared toward a chorus loving guitarist who likes a few (many) flavors of overdrive/distortion and doesn’t want to bring the whole board to a small gig. Later on I found out that was pretty much the theme of most of my builds. Anyway, it’s comprised of the Dr. Rock board, a couple of DPDT switch boards, the Stage 357 Magnum, and the Mini Me. Because everybody, everywhere, should have at least one Mini Me. I had the boards populated and sitting because I love to solder, but the idea lacked any spirit at first. I couldn’t decide how to bring it together. So, I figured I’d give a listen to the Dr. Rock demo video that Barry did and see if that could help to show me the way to the other side. Boy. Did it. As a wayward son myself I could start to understand the way. Follow me. Don’t let go. I’ll take you through it. Ready? So we enter, as usual, from the right hand side and immediately find to our bewilderment, that all circuits are powered up and ready via a single 9v jack, yet all bypassable with the aid of 3PDT boards too. Like a ditch door halfway through the roller coaster line for scaredy-cats and moms. Comforting and nice of me, but we are taking the long way. We get stomped straight into the Noise And Confusion section, provided by our Dr. Rock where we choose our initial gain and level. Now the Dr. Rock board has A B and C G pads, you see, in case you want to jump off the board for some clipping fun. A and B from the soft overdrive area of the circuit or C and G from the hard driving area of the opposing diodes shunting to ground. So naturally, I chose both. I put some diode choices on DPDT boards with on-off-on switches and designed a rotary switch to swap the boards between the two sections as desired. Confused? Don’t worry just put the switches in the off mode for now and you’ll just have some natural op amp clipping as we sail into the Soaring Ever Higher section provided by the magical, then named, Stage 357 Magnum board. BTW it’s the XX Double Shot now. Scoop em up. So small but so powerful. Be careful here. We could bypass but ‘come on man’. Lets go. The first half of the board is the infamous Stage 3 circuit as we know and love it. A single transistor, adjustable, boost for a Glimpse Beyond. The Ever Higher switch looks like something I need to touch. I flick it. Whoa, good thing the Too High knob is there. It controls the level of the second half of 357 which is another single transistor boost. You could go too high I think. Oh yeah, to help our baritone buddies just move the Carry On switch to the other side and allow all bass frequencies as we soar. We aren’t out yet. Did I mention that I like chorus? We head into the Voices When I’m Dreaming section, provided by the, popular for a reason, Mini Me board. A couple of knobs, that point this way and that, control your dream somewhat. It can get really out there in there. We see the Winds of Fortune knob and just know that it will guide us back. But this just proves that you are dreaming because that is the tone knob of the Dr. Rock board with sets the incoming tone. I just felt like putting it over there. Either way satisfaction is guaranteed. Well, that’s it, I don’t know if we ever come down. I gifted it to Barry’s daughter, Paige. You’ll have to ask her. Hi Paige! She did at least one video where this pedal is featured. I felt proud.

Inspiration from a demo vid? You tell me.

I’m fortunate enough to have Adobe Illustrator to use as the tool for designing my pedals. I use it from when I dream it up to designing and printing the final waterslide label. The free app Inkscape can do much of the same if you are interested. It’s the dreaming it up part, to at least a starting point, that seems to take forever sometimes. Just keep trying. But check in with Barry.

Hopefully, the names on the enclosure candy wrappers should self-evident . . .

    Best Ever Over Drive . . .

Destroyer of Angels (BMP, Rat & MOSFET Boost in one enclosure) . . . .
